We carry Lu-Mi Strings. These instruments were developed by Markku Luolajan-Mikkola, a Finnish gamba player with an international reputation. He studied viola da gamba with Wieland Kuijken and baroque cello with Jaap ter Linden at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and received postgraduate diplomas in both instruments. These instruments are in our experience the absolute best baroque strings that are commercially available and affordable for students and professionals alike, and we feel very fortunate to have access to them.
